Emergency Tree Removal done right, by neighbors who live here

When a tree comes down on your house, your car, or your driveway, you do not have time to shop around. We answer the phone day and night and roll a crew across Mercer County to clear the hazard, protect what is still standing, and document everything for your insurance company.

Mercer County gets hit by nor'easters in winter, severe thunderstorms in summer, and the occasional remnant from a hurricane track in September. The trees that come down most often are mature silver maples, dying ash, and shallow-rooted pines on the saturated clay soil we have here. We have cleared trees off homes in Lawrenceville, Princeton, Hopewell, Ewing, Hamilton, and Trenton in the middle of the night and at 4 in the morning.

How it works

  1. 1

    Call comes in

Owner or dispatcher answers, gets the address, the situation, and whether anyone is hurt or trapped.

  2. 2

    Crew rolls

Closest crew dispatches with chainsaws, a chipper, and rigging gear. Bucket truck or crane added if needed.

  3. 3

    Make safe

First priority is making the property safe: power lines (called in to PSE&G), unstable limbs, blocked exits.

  4. 4

    Remove and document

Tree removed in pieces, debris hauled, and photos plus a written itemized invoice provided for your insurance claim.

Frequently asked questions

How fast can you get here?+

Same day in most cases. During active storms we work the queue by severity, with trees on houses and blocked driveways first.

Does insurance cover this?+

Usually yes if the tree hit a structure or is blocking access. We give you photos and an itemized invoice for the claim.

What if the tree is on a power line?+

Do not touch it. We call PSE&G to de-energize the line before we cut. This is not optional and we will not work around a live wire.

Do you charge extra for nights and weekends?+

There is a modest after-hours rate for true overnight calls. We quote it before we start so there are no surprises.
